2012 Spring Schedule

 

The dates for the Spring Races are:

April 15
May 6
June 10

Sailors, we are getting ready for the spring racing season. We certainly hope to have good participation this year.
As you have noticed, we’ve been trying different things in hopes of getting more participation. Last spring we had more races and went into June with the racing. In the fall we switched to Saturdays for the racing.

Well here goes again. We’ll have three different race days, one on April 15, one on May 6 and one on June 10. Not a series but three races a day and some kind of social event afterwards. We will be going back to Sundays in hopes of getting back some of the people who have to work on Saturday. The race results will stand alone for each day so if you can only make one event great.

This is an experiment. We really need input (input: that help and advice from each person to help us make the racing successful, enjoyable and to increase the folks participating in this sailing experience).

While anyone who is interested is invited and welcome to race with us, only current club members are eligible for trophies for the series. All racers will be scored in each race, but the official standings for each race will reflect only the finish positions of WSC members.
